UBX public API reference: Endpoint administration API
Read the story behind it…
On the surface, Universal Behavior Exchange (UBX) lets marketers avoid working with code to connect their marketing apps. However, under the covers, a series of API calls are required to make everything work. Application developers need to finish configuring the UBX APIs before marketers can get to work.
UBX refers to applications that connect through UBX as endpoints. This example is an excerpt from the UBX public API reference, which appears in the UBX Integration Guide, first published in 2015. The example describes the various APIs that are available to manage UBX endpoints.
Audience: Application developers who configure API calls to UBX.
Noteworthy: I worked on UBX from its beta development in 2015 through 2017. In those first years, the API guide was available only as PDF and as online help in IBM Knowledge Center and on the IBM Developer website.

What is UBX?
Universal Behavior Exchange (UBX) is a hosted service that enables separate marketing applications to exchange data about customers (audiences) and their behaviors (events). UBX end users (marketers) can exchange audience and event data between marketing applications without the need for costly software integrations or repeated requests to corporate IT departments.
